About Bmatix

Bmatix, trusted advisors in information management and BI, was launched as a Belgian start-up in 2012. It joined the Gumption Group in the same year.

In December 2013, Bmatix opened an office in Luxembourg.

At the start of 2019, the company employs 35 consultants, servicing +50 customers in Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland

As an independent partner, Bmatix assesses your  information management needs. It deploys trend-setting technologies from SAP, Microsoft, SAS, Qlik and DataStories as a robust backbone.

Jan Vautmans

Managing partner Bmatix Belgium

Jan Vautmans has over 20 years experience in BI, budgeting and enterprise performance management. He worked on projects for multinationals and SMEs in various capacities. He developed into a BI strategist who thinks along with decision-makers and helps them align their information management optimally with their business objectives. Those thought exercises demand guts and creativity – characteristics that also come in handy in his role as a managing partner at Bmatix, trusted advisors in information management and BI. Together with his team, Jan always goes all out to deliver the best possible solution for the customer.

Maarten Bemong

Managing Partner Bmatix Belgium

A real team player, Maarten Bemong has been managing partner at Bmatix since 2015. He has worked in business intelligence for over two decades. He started his career as a developer and data warehouse architect. Maarten has a lot of experience in managing small and big BI project teams. He has extensive technical expertise, which he continuously develops. This makes him a valuable contact for both employees and customers. Quality is paramount to Maarten. He has high standards: a project is only really perfect when it is delivered on time, in scope and within budget.

Benoit Richard

Managing Partner Bmatix Luxembourg

Benoit Richard is managing partner of Bmatix in Luxembourg. After a Master's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science, Benoit started his career in Luxembourg as an SAP consultant. He joined the world of BI in 2007 and then moved into business development. Customer satisfaction is Benoit's priority. His great technical expertise and his human approach allow the Bmatix Luxembourg team to flourish.
